Street Photography is the most interesting yet challenging and complex of all genres in photography. It requires one’s tremendous focus and visually active constantly, to be sensitive and responsive to the surrounding while making accurate camera setting and near perfect composition. All these have to be carry out in a fraction of a second, as the legendary Henri Cartier-Bresson called it the ‘decision moment’.
For destination photography workshop, every year we make our round to look for the most ideal places in the world to invite participants to join us in the ever intriguing art of Street Photography Masterclass. Currently the three workshops in 2018 have been confirmed in three very rich and exciting backdrops, they are Yangon, Beijing and Tokyo, and they are open for sign up now (see below). Whichever destination you decide to develop your photography skill, this Street Photography Masterclass is part science, part art, and part psychology. We will walk you through the thought process in street photo making. You will learn the preparation and the approach in making portrait of a stranger, different camera handling methods and techniques in shooting lightning fast to capture the decisive moment. And most importantly to compose your photo looking exactly like what you have visualised even before you look through the viewfinder.
