This course may not be the right fit for you. Instead, I recommend exploring the Essential Foundation Course, it’s important not to skip the very first step in basic photography.
However, if you have overcome these challenges and are ready to move forward, welcome to the Intermediate Course. This next step in your photography journey focuses on advancing your foundational knowledge. You’ll deepen your understanding of exposure meter reading and learn which light meter modes work best in various lighting scenarios. We’ll tackle low light photography, such as nighttime shooting. Next, we will delve deeply into the art of composition and seeing. Understanding composition is crucial to creating visually compelling photographs that captivate and engage viewers.

COURSE DESCRIPTION & Expectations:
In this course, we will cover the essential aspects of photography, starting with the fundamental element of lighting. Understanding and manipulating light is crucial for photographers, as it acts as the paintbrush for creating captivating images. You will learn how to explore the light metering system and utilize different light meter modes in various lighting conditions to your advantage. This knowledge will enable you to transform ordinary scenes into dramatic masterpieces. Additionally, you will discover how to effectively use the tiny built-in camera flash to enhance your portraits, even in challenging scenarios.
Moving on, we will delve into the intriguing realm of night photography and explore the art of painting with light. This will expand your creative horizons and open your eyes to the wonders of capturing stunning images after dark.
Next, we will focus on composition techniques that will elevate the aesthetic balance and appeal of your photos. You will no longer be limited to capturing only beautiful subjects; instead, you will learn how to create compelling images in unexpected situations. Understanding what works and what doesn’t in terms of composition will enable you to make informed decisions before taking action. By developing these skills, you will elevate your photography and become a more effective visual storyteller.
This vital course is composed of four crucial photography courses; Dynamic Exposure, Night Photography and Composition.
Our training program embraces a three-part format which includes theory, application and review/critique. The sessions are a mixture of theory and practice for the optimal learning experience.
