Singapore Street Photography Masterclass| 11 – 13 August 2018

Street Photography in Singapore to many it’s extremely challenging because it isn’t that interesting of a backdrop. It’s only true if street photography is just about looking for good looking subject or scenery to photograph, but it’s a lot more than that, it’s about testing your skill level in photography, speed and ability in visualization, understanding and utilizing existing lighting, and believe or not, psychology. Ultimately it’s about Making(not taking) good photos that tell stories in our everyday mundane life. In this exclusive 3-day Street Photography Masterclass, you will be taught how to do all that, and see your photography skill transforms shot by shot.

About Trainer:
This masterclass is designed and conducted by award-winning photographer and photography mentor Alan Lim of School of Photography Singapore. Alan has been a professional photographer for 23 years, his work has been showcased and published on numerous sites which some can be seen below:

 

Course Structure:
Our training program embraces a three-part format which includes theory, application and review/critique. The three-day workshop is a mixture of theory and hands-on for the optimal learning experience. Saturday and Sunday from 9.30am to 12pm, and 1.30pm to 4pm, and on Monday from 7pm to 10pm, a total of 5 sessions, 2.5hrs per session.

Pre-requisites:
Basic Photography or equivalent. Knowledgeable in your own camera operation. Any working digital camera, 35mm to 50mm lens, laptop, thumb drive, tripod(optional).


Workshop Fee: 
SGD$1500
(Only limited to 6 participants)

*Booking close on 6th August 2018. Payment will be refunded 100% if Workshop is cancelled. 50% of the Workshop Fee will be refunded if participant decided to withdraw in less than 5 days before the workshop commences date. Participants are responsible for all travel costs such as air tickets, travel insurance, visa, accommodation, local transport, site admission, and food.
