Whether you are a complete newbie or reacquaint looking for a basic photography course in group classes or a private 1-on-1 lessons to build a solid photography foundation, this is where you begin.
A camera is a powerful tool that allows us to capture moments and freeze them in time. However, it is important to remember that it is the photographer who truly creates the photos. The art of photography is a skill that can be developed and honed with the right knowledge and practice. In this essential photography course, we provide you with a solid foundation in photography, ensuring that you excel in every session.
From the very beginning of this course, you will experience a sense of accomplishment as you leave the first lesson equipped with the ability to confidently operate your camera in full manual mode. In addition to gaining expertise in camera control, you will also delve into the scientific aspects of photography, understanding the intricacies of light and its role in creating captivating images. Furthermore, you will explore the concept of composition and learn how to effectively apply it to your photographs. Ultimately, you will acquire the skills to go beyond simply capturing pictures and instead tell compelling stories through your photography.
This vital course is composed of four crucial photography courses; Camera Craft, Dynamic Exposure, Night Photography and Composition.
Our training program embraces a three-part format which includes theory, application and review/critique. The sessions are a mixture of theory and practice for the optimal learning experience.
