Go into the world of Documentary Photography. Make images not just looking pretty but tell stories.
We designed this course to challenge your limits as a visual storyteller. Be prepared to spend hours capturing real moments. We will walk you through your very own documentary project – from conceptualization to production – and transform your photographs into stories that matter.
In this course you will learn to use the right choice of photography equipment for this unpredictable genre of photography and what must your photos have to reveal the truth of human society. Be the one to conquer the fear of making a portrait of complete strangers. Learn to visualize story angles and produce a series of photographs to tell stories. Learn to think, see, and shoot fast without missing the crucial moment like a seasoned documentarian. At the end of these seven sessions you will be so proud to look at your final project and the transformation you have made, you will be so pumped to start another project on your own immediately.
Our training program embraces a three-part format which includes theory, application and review/critique. The sessions are a mixture of theory and practice for the optimal learning experience.
