A photography exhibition showcasing the Golden Land, her culture, heritage and people, opens today from 28th Jan to 6th Mar 2015 at ION Art gallery, level 4 ION Orchard, 2 Orchard Turn, Singapore 238801.

The exhibition is presented by Art & Hope and curated by Jose Tay who has an extensive years of experience in the Visual Art’s industry such as managing the visual art programmes for the National Museum of Singapore (2006-2010) and held as the Fair Director of the inaugural Art Stage Singapore 2011.

This exhibition showcases over 100 images by 13 international photographers, including School of Photography Singapore(SOP)  very own Photographer Mentor Alan Lim. More than 10 pieces of Alan’s work can be seen at the exhibition including ‘Heart & Soul of Myanmar‘ which is used for the main intro and invites of the show.  Alan is most delighted to have some of his students’ work to be exhibited side by side in the same show, and using photography to help the children of Myanmar. All works are for sale.
